Make Things Right

I don't know where
to begin
Just trying to breathe
it all in
Inside my mind from
deep within
Lies a stain marked
from where I've been

I'm trying to wash
it out
But I'm almost starting
to doubt
What I'm all about
And how things will
turn out
For me...

I don't want to
lose connection
Because of my infection
I really need your affection

I can't let myself unravel
I've already gone through
a long rough travel
I'm trying to fight and win this battle
So I'm not sinking through the gravel
I'm trying to make my way
towards your light
That'll take me to a place
so bright
So I can get a clearer sight
Cause I just wanna make things right

I don't know what
to do now
I'm just gonna lay
it all down
Cause I can't let myself
drown again
That'll just put more pain
On me...

I don't want to
lose connection
Because of my infection
I really need your affection

I can't let myself unravel
I've already gone through
a long rough travel
I'm trying to fight and win this battle
So I'm not sinking through the gravel
I'm trying to make my way
towards your light
That'll take me to a place
so bright
So I can get a clearer sight
Cause I just wanna make things right

I'm not gonna keep on
hiding
Everything that's been
crammed up inside me
I'm getting on my knees
About to open up my heart
to you, my king
I won't give up so easily
I just gotta keep on running
So I can catch up to you finally

I wanna have a strong connection
And be healed from my infection
All I need is your affection

I can't let myself unravel
I've already gone through
a long rough travel
I'm trying to fight and win this battle
So I'm not sinking through the gravel
I'm trying to make my way
towards your light
That'll take me to a place
so bright
So I can get a clearer sight
Cause I just wanna make things right

I really wanna make things right
