Maria's Epitaph

Here lies the woman of dreams who escaped turmoil on the high of laughter, plummeted into the stories sung by written words and tears, and danced in imaginary lands while cowering from the sun.  If only she lived! When death breathed down her neck with sour breath she had an epiphany; it's time to live!  She opened here arms to love, happiness, and suffering.  Then death reared its head and took her with a loved one's hand. The knife sliced her heart and ended her beginning.
