The Mask of Reality

Location

You spoke to me of a telltale dream

Where the life we know isn’t what it seems

We are shrouded by a comfortable darkness

But cannot see that it masks innocent carcasses

Convinced by our demons that this is our light

Willingly, blindly, we dig ourselves further into the night
