Masked Shadow

Location

Words are constantly expressed into the public eye,

rumors, judgements, and harmful expressions expand all over the world.

I am nothing but a roaming shadow in life,

without my true form in sight.

I pleased, followed, and covered when I got the chance,

afraid others wouldn't accept who I am and what I had to offer.

Mornings would arrive and my mask would sit beside me,

awaiting for me to place it on my face.

This was my everyday lifestyle of hiding behind the curtain.
