A Masterpiece in Denial

Location

Her eyes hold a galaxy

Exploding with lumosity

And bursting with breathtaking color.

But she only sees the darkness.

Her mind is an ocean,

A limitless world beneath the surface

Home to endless wonder.

But she hides what lies in the depths.

Her body is a painting

Drawn with scars, bruises,

And salty teardrops.

She doesn’t see the value.
