It burns brighter than passion and higher than dreams

a red brain, holding so much more than it seems.

Beneath its front it boils and bubbles,

melting our most hideous troubles. 

Flickering and waving on and off like thoughts.

Emitting glorious light where none could be found.

Shining bright among our internal walls.

The lights go out and we fall.
