My father, never there, but my mother taught me to be strong.

It is what is, but I promise you you"ll eat those words in a day coming not too long.

"He's a queer". Well guess what? He's also human.

And no one should belittle him because he knows what he prefers

 unlike the rest of you who continue to hide and burrow iniside lies

and rumors like cowards.

 

Words hurt. Oh, yes they do

Sometimes curt,

Sometimes rude,

Sometimes kind.

Sometimes, no most times, people go th extra mile

to not only not smile, but rain on my parade and dampen my sunshine.

 

Words hurts.

       Yes

            they

                   do.
