Me; My First Love

Sun, 12/31/2017 - 22:46 -- lexim09

Self,

Your worth is not determined
By the number on the scale,
The places you choose to go,
Whether you succeed or fail.
Mental health is more important
Than the size of your waist.
Your erudition far exceeds
The problems that you faced.
Storms will start to brew,
And times will prove tough.
But staying true to you -
None can call that a bluff.
Do not let a single moment pass
Anywhere other than in first class.

With love,

Me.
