The Mechanics of the Mind

If you ask me what makes me tick

then I'd have to tell you I don't tick, I tock

And if you aserted I was to pick

I'd simpy laugh and decide not

If you asked me to fall in line

I'd figure it best to zig and zag around

If you told me to talk I'd choose to mime

For it is better to be lost and found

And if you asked me what I saw

I'd smile and tell you a sound

How much more fun is it to see a 'Cah-Caw' or a 'Meow'?

Keep in in mind

Clocks both tick and tock

And if you may tock too,

Staying the same is just something you ought

to do.
