those who stay the same

When you look in the mirror and you see nothin’ but the lies

fed to us since childhood,

spread through our whole lives

It’s OK to be beautiful

but what can beauty  be

It’s the description of a million people other than me

But what you see on TV or on a magazine

is a depiction of what other people want you to be

It’s a world-wide fight

to shed some light on this concern

It’s every girls right

To be accepted, not burned.
