Melenant

 I want to sleep...
I really do.
He's calling just beyond the avenue.
Tight curb, love in the low life suburbs. Patiently waiting for me.
Sich schminken to hide a brutally gentle tide.
A flickering candle, fainting like the blue sky.
The sun is at dusk, the clouds mimic the color of reddish orange rust.
Dare not will I see the stars, or a moon.
If God were to bless,
 the rain will fall.
veins run empty, molding winter's finer kiss.
But, if I am not to be blessed--
I will be shown in brightly dimmed clothes,
illuminated by a warmth like fire.
Convicted with my heart ripped from my chest.
Those dimmed clothes were actually my flesh…
my eyelids pressed like iron shillings.
Perishing from existence.
God, you are in the distance.
Rejuvenating silence.
My soul belongs to Bahá'u'lláh.
Glory be to God.
