A Melting in the Forest

Snow White cannot fight

Her soul’s become cold

Like White Snow.

She must go.

Sharp memories like icicles

Dangerously dangling

Ready to snap

Pierce below.

Love

She does not know.

A past of pain

Wrapped around her

Like the arms of her mother,

But a step away from blood.

Stepped away to run.

Where leaves are soaked with sun,

Let emotions come to light,

Let her find

What she has missed

Her entire life.

Snow White does not need to fight.
