To Mend A Heart

How do you mend a heart?

A heart that is black and blue.

How do you hide the pain?

That is aching inside of you.

Losing a friend or even a lover,

Is enough to break you in two,

The feeling of worthlessness,

Stirs inside of you.

Then when you think is over,

And you walk alone in the night,

A glimmer of hope appears,

The moon shining bright.

Never lose sight of hope,

For love is stronger than hate,

Be strong and brave, you will see,

Love will guide you to your fate.
