You mean when a caterpillar

liquefies itself into a butterfly?

     Just melting in ice

Or the transformation within

the belly from embryo

to a bundle of joy?

    Cute cuddly darling.

Or what about being a college bound

student that gets in the middle

of a gun fight; then finds himself

protecting himself

   Forgets his path out of fear..

Is that a metamorphosis too?
