Missed Phone Calls: Papaoutai

i never can understand

how a father can leave his daughters to fend for themselves

he blames them for his pain

but they're caught in the game

the same one he  claims he lost to their mom to

and now he's running away

claiming "she's got you! it's your fault!"

what do you mean it's our fault?

aren't you the daddy in this situation?

shouldn't you be telling me, all the thing's i should watch out for

i'm no adult, im just a teen

and your other daughter's younger than me

we're both fighting this alone

but you won't even hear our sturuggle

cuz you won't even pick up the phone!

Dang.. okay

you can't blame us for your pain

or misfortune bad choices brought you

we are decisions, not mistakes

so how dare you try to get us to see you as the victim

we're the only two people here

waiting for two adults to reappear

cause when you guys get immature we're the that suffer the most

you act like you're the only ones that matter

shouldn't we be calling you hero?

"hello? are you there?" ...no

all these years we've tried to compare the impact hat you guys have made

but all i can say now is,

Grow up.

We can't save you from yourself

You can't look to us for help,

We just love you and that's all that we can do

As we get older ourselves.
