Mom

Mom,

Graduation is months away

And soon after I’ll be all on my own.

I know in heart you’ll always be there for me,

No matter where I go, whether it be hours or days away.

Now it’s time to take everything I’ve learned from you

And implement it into my own life as I move forward with my future.

It’s time to take your advice,

To learn from your mistakes and to become a better me.

Without you, I wouldn’t be who I am now,

And for that I am appreciative of everything you’ve sacrificed for me and my brothers.

As I leave for college I want you to know that I love you “infinity times infinity”,

And that no matter what I’ll always come back home.

Thank you, Mom,

I’m proud of what you’ve accomplished even with the challenges you’ve faced.

And I aspire to be as strong, open-minded, and as courageous as you are.
