There is a distance.

A space where time is held captive.

Silence watching as bravery battles against fear.

As the heart beats inside the flesh, You look. 

They are blank.

 

There it is a construction of pieces melted, cut, and delicately placed to form something so great. 

There as our protection or is it destruction?

 

There it goes piercing through the space, 

The warmth slowly flowing out as the unwanted cold seeps through and find its new home.

Silence is cut and time is shattered.

The pain that was once in the body continues to spread. 

Eyes watching as numbers are rising.

 

Those once considered sane are thrown into the fame. 

Soon separated by society the fame waits to claim. 

Forever left quiet,

The cycle remains in motion. 

The questions remain unanswered.
