Monsters

Mon, 08/01/2016 - 18:45 -- Equell

Do i look like a person who is two faced?

Do i look like a person who lies?

The mind tends to grasp the looks of someone

By their beauty,

Their imperfections .

Us humans are monsters who choose by looks

Yet the ones with the most beauty,

The most of anything,

Are the true monsters,

Fooled that beauty and power divides us all,

Even if we are all the same.

We were formed the same way,

With two lungs,

One heart,

One mind,

And even with this notion  why must we judge a book by its cover,

Without reading the fluorescent insides?

Why must we feed the mouths of gossip and false truths

Before feeding our own mouths of self acceptance?

Our world
