The Moon from my bed

Wed, 06/26/2019 - 22:57 -- kmaung

By my bed, at night, there are three windows

Sometimes the moon travels from the first to the third

Sometimes the moon stays on the second

Sometimes the moon will dart away into the dark clouds

Every night, the illuminating moon acts spontaneously

The moon was only a moon

Until daddy made the majestic moon his humble home

By my bed, at night, there are three windows

The first reflects the myriad memories we shared

The second is the painful present without him

And the third is a felicitous future appearing to be light-years away

But every night, I know he’s still here when I look at the illuminating moon
