Moon Shine

They crawl along the trees and through the grass

They bounce off the smoky red flare

They sneak through the night, exploring until hearts content

They light the night, casting their reflections through the streets

They prosper until mornings come, then fade away until nights return

They consume only part of me for my heart is never content.
