Morning Love

Location

She stared out in the morning
Thinking about her love:
On the other side of the world
Knowing it was night there
She wonders what he's doing;
How he can stand the sound,
The sound of bombs and the
Shots of guns

She stared out in the morning
Thinking about her love:
How a month from now they will
See each other again
She imagines his tight embrace,
His arms around her as a silent tear
Slides down her cheek

But now,
Now she stands alone in the rain
