Mother Earth

Beautiful Queen of earth, princess of land,

Will we ever know how she stands?

How can she stand these boiling heats?

With all these lights on how does she sleep?

How can she live, suffocating on elastic?

The animals she breeds, living on

plastic.

To some, but not all, the effects are

drastic.

Oh, Queen mother of earth, you used to be fantastic.

Look what we’ve done, look what we’ve

made!

Look at your health, which we have

Exploited,

All for what? Greed and hatred

And even worse, all these resources come from you,

For your endless kindness, I give you my gratitude.

Save you, we must,

Help you, we must,

Protect you, we must,

Because in you,

we trust.
