Mother's Home

From lands far and distant

misunderstood and underestimated;

they may have not given him a chance

but She saw underneath him.

She recognized his soul

granted him independence

and put him in a pathway to find his joy.

Although he is not born of Her,

She recognizes him as one of her own;

the only mother that would do such a thing,

and above all, hands him the same gifts She gives to her natural children.

She treats him no different

than Her richest son, or Her poorest;

Showing no resraint when punishing or rewarding him.

She's blind when serving justice

estatic at the arrival of new sons

willing to help her less fortunate,

and heartbroken when her children disrespect the home she has established.

Mother to millions,

she comes not from the womb of a woman,

but from the ribs of many fathers.

Raised in order to create the perfect home,

she has yet to fall, continuing to birth and construct great children.

He's found refuge in her.
