In Motion To Me

The tranquility of the living earth

Has brought me peace inside

But mainly because the things I see

For others it will hide

As I coast along this busy world

I question myself here

Is it normal to hear the sounds daily

That no one really hears

I like to read very deeply

I learned to train my mind

To look at things around me

And picture them in rhyme

No more do I see the way that I did

No more ordinary life

But I picture things in a different way

Some with wonder, some with strife

As I express my feelings dear and strong

I know I can do no wrong

But to write down what things mean to me

Some might say it's a song

As I see clearly the light of day

I know what others see

But poetry is not just written words

It's in motion to me

This poem is about:
Me
Our world
