Motivational Me

Tue, 08/23/2016 - 12:44 -- mackrol

The sun has barely risen,

As my alarm screams in my ear.

I lie there looking at the wall,

But I don't shed a single tear.

I look forward to the day,

No matter what's in store.

I jump up from my bed,

And get going on my way.

I look forward to see my sisters,

All huddled around a mirror.

Their banter makes me smile,

And makes the day seem clearer.

My parents are in the kitchen,

Making lunch for the day.

Thier warm and welcome faces,

Makes my day ready to begin.

I love my family lots,

And that I can't deny.

In my early morning thoughts,

They are the reason I get up.
