My Angel Lives On Earth

My Angel Lives On Earth

By: Tory Talbott

My angel walks among us,

The strange ones, the brave ones

And the lame ones.

Her mind now knows no fear,

She is my light when darkness creeps near.

My angel is not perfect;

But she is not like you or me.

She’s flawed in that which

Her beauty she cannot see.

She has angels of her own,

But they love from the stars.

They guard her soul

With the purest of purest hearts.

My angel lives on Earth,

So her wings haven’t sprouted.

She’s my mother and her worth

Is a number not yet counted

I’m a lucky soul, indeed,

That, you, my angel,

Are here with me.
