My Father & Me

Stranded on an island? The one million dollar question, what would I need?

Many would say my phone, t.v, tablet, their whole room I would choose different

I have always been told that I am different and that is alright

What I need has been there from the beginning and there is no other like my father

Without a doubt my father would be the one I need He is strong, funny, and can cook

I would not be surprised if my father could make a five course meal,

stranded on an island with two rocks and stick

My experience would be just as fun as Mowgli in the Jungle Book

Ever since I was little I have been a daddy’s girl

Even till this day we laugh and joke that if the phrase “Daddy’s girl”

was in the dictionary my picture would be right underneath

My father is what I would need a stranded island

Even in the bad times he always manages to keep my smiling

I love my father and my father loves me

on a stranded island he would be the one with me
