My Giant

Location

I am a giant before you,
A courageous hero.
You see through me,
You see the shame and darkness
But you focus on what could be, will be.

I fall time and again.
Time and again, you pick me up,
Brush me off and send me back
To fight the monsters, my monsters.
Am I ready or just another hack?

These monsters dont come from me
Rather, belong to me.
I am the designated dragon slayer
But I'm shaking in my armor.
You sure? There goes an experienced player.

No, I have nothing to fear
Yes, you are with me
No, no one else will do
Yes, you fight with me, for me
I know, if not me, then who?

I am a giant before you...
No, my Lord, you are my giant.
You are my courageous hero.
You put the world on top of your cross.
You are my infinite and I am zero.

So I'm sorry because I cant fathom
How I could ever be a giant.
I need your wisdom and understanding.
All I know is that I feel your strength,
Your fire and somehow I'm ready -
still shaking.

There will be battle scars
Scars of light, blessing, testimony
And obstacles as deserts, tests, trials
But there will also be victories
Victories of a giant, My Giant.
