My Hall of Fame

Looking towards the future, what is it over there yonder?
is it destruction? is it hope? I ponder.
Looking at my past, I see a boy not yet grown
His talents and skills he has yet to hone
Looking at myself, I realize, that I am all three
The Future, The past, and me presently.
The Mistakes that I have made, I have forgiven
And to keep pushing myself further, I must start living
All of my successes, and failures, they shaped who I am
And without them, I'd be nothing but a sham
Getting rejected, turned down, my friends death
at times I fear that there is nothing left
for me to accomplish, a reason to continue
But feeling upset, or scared is nothing new.
I am a new man, a new me taking helm of my life and failures
and though they used to be part of my shackles i'm sure.
They are all sitting on my walls, nothing to fear of shame
Because they are the pillars to my hall of fame.
