My Hidden Self

Wed, 08/13/2014 - 14:35 -- SDL1292

A smile on my face

To decieve those  around me

A fraudulent  demeanor

To fool both them and thee

Kindness and warmth on the outside

A shield for my innermost self

The darker ego that is my person

Whom grows ice over his heart

No one will see the truth

Blinded by what is provided

The beast that rages within

Of violence and sin

Will stay down as long as I hide it
