My Hood

This is nigeria
In africa you know that black area
Everyday children die of malaria In the street everyday is a hustling
A young nigga gat to make a living
Life out here is like a movie
If u are sharp enough you make a living
everything that happens out here is a routine
Don't be surprised it's not a new thimg
Man or woman, boy or girl everybody is a victim
Politicians stealing
Police bribery
No electricity
We've got oil but we are living crude
In my hood
There are children dying of hunger no food
This shit puts me in bad mood
I believe in the new government
At least we know where some of our looted money went
Though we aint seeing it yet
I support the change
The rules of my hood are simple
Don't dull,
Stay sharp
Be focused
Chase your dreams
Dont wait for the government they are more confused than us
Find faith in God Go to church or the mosque
Respect your elders
Love your mothers
And obey your fathers
In my ghetto
Our bitches have no choice but to sell pussy
A graduate no job gat pick he laptop to do some pressing
Grey headed men who lost their life focus all they do is deceiving
Animals in black arrest the innocent youth put words in their mouth and throw them in prison
Advice to the president all this convicted politician they need dying
Round them up throw them in the middle of the ocean with heavy locks and chains so dat sharks eat them with no escaping
Or behead all of them and put their heads on sticks for the world to see
If u wanna make it in my hood u gat to look above the government
Cos their schemes are just to put u in a net
Dont wait for a Messiah or a God sent
Do your own thing become your government
No one can talk cos the law is protecting them Everytime i listen or turn on the radio all i see is and hear is same old bullshit from government with their awesome plan
nigeria needs a true renegade
a new fela kuti to throw his word as a grenade my words
