My Journey has Just Begun

They all stared and laughed as I entered school that day
Teen mom they said with a chuckle and a grin
Ha your life will suck, they repeated again and again
But I ignored the words that brought the pain
My life had not ended as they said
But began a new chapter instead
With pain and tears my daughter was born
Guilt and pain my mind absorbed
But in that hospital I declared a profound thought
That I will be even better after this journey I had fought
So now I sit her with a beautiful daughter at my side
With no regret or pain for told
I'm with her along her way
To make me a proud momma everyday.
