My Keep

Sun, 03/02/2014 - 15:08 -- Harps

I want to sleep a sleep so deep,

No one else will find my keep.

My keep of dreams where no one dares

Where goblins dance and faeries stare

Where witches gurgle on the blood of elves

And willows weep with love that fell

Where dragons breathe a fire so bright

It melts the moon, it melts the night

Where troubles can't find me to rip me apart

And keep me awake long after dark

Where no one dares enter to crack my heart

Only to leave and forever depart

Where war wages not between religions or countries,

But between suns and moons among the skies

Where younger generations are not afraid

To grow and blossom into the next decade

I want to sleep a sleep so deep,

No one else will find my keep.
