My Letter of Memories to Those Who are Always There for Me

Dear Mama and Daddy, June 1st, 1995 6 pounds 2 ounces. Not only did I enter your lives, you also came into mine. From that day forward you would always be my Mom and Dad, and I would always be your baby girl. God blessed me with health and a home, but even more he blessed me with abundant love. You guys were always there for me. Watching us grow up, two crazy little kids who always loved to play. Bubba and Sister, Cowboy and Dorothy. Even through the bickers, fights, naps and messes, you guys were always there for me. August 25, 1998. Accidents happen, even at such a young age. Things could have been so much worse than a lost memory and relearning to walk and talk. But Jesus still held my hand. Doctors, hospitals and rehab after, I was okay. Even then, you guys were always there for me. Learning to ride bikes, Daddy holding my britches. Cooking in the kitchen chanting "Go Mama Go! Go Mama Go!" Growing up on Gospel Bill and Bible Man, lessons of good over evil and that God will always make a way. From Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy, to horsey rides and Birthdays. "I love you THIS much!" You guys were always there for me. Moving to High School, finding out who I am, backed up with all of your love and support. Goodnight prayers and kisses with a "I Love You" and the end. The crazy life of cheer, friends, homework and boys. After the all nighters, the days of crying and the days of laughter, you guys were still there for me. Here I am, 17 going on 18. Now with a license and learning to become a young lady. You taught me right from wrong. When I was weak you made me strong, teaching me to lean on you and God. For the good times we'll have, and the battles to come, I can always count on you. And even though life is going by way too fast, I know you guys are still there for me. So here's to the future, for who I am and what I do. I know i'll reach success and its all because of you! No matter where I'm at or where you are, you'll always be close within my heart. Your my mommy and daddy, my role models for life. I love you so much, no words could never describe. "I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I'm living your baby i'll be!" And I know you will always, always be there for me! I love you both, Sister
