My mom

You've been my fan, you've been my teacher

You've been my friend, you've been my preacher

I've learned some valuable lessons from you

From your words and the things you do

I hope I don't leave and let you down

I want to succeed when you're not around

My goals are high, you've taught me well

It's time to write the story I'll tell

Graduation is for commencement

But now's the time to be independent

I'll make you proud Mom
