My Mother and Father

They cut through rough waters To support me, their daughter. Even though I am big, and still holding on to a kneeI know they’ll still love me. Even when their own shores are darkThey still teach me to make my mark. They help me pursueAnd always pull through. With compassion shown traditionally I still know they love me unconditionally They go the extra mile Just to make people smile. They have taught me to be brave Even when their own walls could caveTough times only need a smileBut without them it would take a while.  I’m proud of the house of lightMy parents bring everywhere with their might Share, if you please, A little more faith on the seas.
