My mother My gem

Determination.

Self Will.

How they coincide.

Hand in hand like how I am when I am with you.

The force that your aura brings when it meets mine.

But from where does it stem?

Started from my mother my gem.

When I was just a seed and you not knowing how to breed.

You were so young yet you raised me.

Now look at us we're a team.

You amaze me.

You worked vigorously to see me succeed.

Determined to push me through to give me life even when the doctors told you I wouldn't make it and your face turned blue.

But here I am.

Sacrifice.

Perseverance.

I am who I am because of you.

My mother my pride.

You taught me how to chase down my every desire until I owned it and made it mine.

Until my needs are satisfied.

I will not stop until that smile on your face is amplified.

My mother my gem.

You are the Queen to whom I humbly bow my head to and give all my respects.
