In My Soul

Oh, the bitter hatred in your soul has frightened me for centuries, death always lurking in your eyes , the pain you always bring. But my ancestors they were warriors, there is a fight within my soul, I will not be beaten down, I will not be broken. You can't fool me as you have done the others for years, many years, years too long. If i have to climb the highest mountain, swing through the valley low. I will do it to show you, you will treat me right ! No longer will I run from you, No! I'll walk rgiht up to you. I will not move. I will not fall because next to you is my place. Equality. Am I intimidating? The thought that another race could out shine you, oh, it kills you deep inside. But if not me, it will be my children. Yes, they will be treated right. For my ancestors, they were warriors there is a cry within my soul. I will not be beaten down. I will not be brokwn. You can't fool me as you have done the others, for years, many years, years too long.
