A free verse is my domain
its crazy
unexpected like me
when I write it my fingers race across the keyboard
unknowing of my own words

this gives me a bit of a push
to see the things that I can do
that I can say
the words that I can create and manage as my own
the abilities of this mind

yet I push to the challenge
I urge for a new thought of rhyming words and sonnets
these give me a feeling of accomplishment as I write
as I learn of something new
as I create something difficult into something all my own
the challenge of words and phrases to coexist in a fluent motion
