NANA

She’s so graceful

And golden

She’s marvelous

And elegant

Her favorite hymns always cloud the house

I want to be like her

She can have a conversation with anyone

She’s determined

And confident

She’s nana

A little bit of her is in me

But I wanna be like her

I’m determined, like her

To chase after my dreams

Her impact on me is

An explosion

It spreads

The way I talk

Is based on where I’m from because of her

My dreams reflect her

My Nana

Influenced everything I am

I wanna be like her

My style reflects how she dresses

I’m not copying

I’m recreating

I’m not her clone

I’m not mimicking her

Or imitating her way

I’m just her replica

Her echo

My Nana

It’s breathtaking

How she can discipline anybody

Despite age

It’s Impressive

How she can make anybody act right

Undeterred by background

This God fearing

Strong

Independent

Cool

Funny

Awesome

Confident

Beautiful

Amazing

Loving

Always happy

Exceptional

Extraordinary

Outgoing

Merry

Gorgeous

Nana

I want to be like my nana

My everything will always reflect her
