Nature

Here, nature grasped me in her arms and straddled my front.

Here, she immersed me in her smells and her soft, lingering caresses,

Here, she dominated with gentle, sudden, adamant will power.

Here, she ruled over me and I gladly submitted.

            Here, I am her subject.

All that I ever need, want, and seek is already in my arms.

This solemn, tranquil inner peace… Who else could wish for more?

I wish for an ocean to look out upon in awe and

A beach to hold me as I stared out into endless depths.

I wish for a sun to shine warmly upon me as clouds trickle by.

I wish for nature, and I wish for the conquering of myself.
