Nature's Consequence

Mon, 09/01/2014 - 22:51 -- bloss0

Lost in misty woods; howling animals yearn

Nothing but eerie noises and colors of charcoal gray

Once I find my way out, I’ll never return

Dead ends and no escape is my concern

Its too late to retrace my steps and walk away

Lost in misty woods; howling animals yearn

Endless curiosity rolls downhill; a lesson I only now learn

For an easy escape I want powers like Morgan Le Fe

Once I find my way out, I’ll never return

In this experience, what will I earn?

I have nowhere to go and been led astray

Lost in misty woods; howling animals yearn

Glancing up at the starts and watching them burn

Following them on this continuous path hoping they’ll guide my way

Once I find my way out, I’ll never return

Nature must not want me to leave; in the way lies a great fern

Tired and exhausted I walk over to a big oak; there I lay

Lost in misty woods; howling animals yearn

Once I find my way out, I’ll never return
