Never Forget

Sun, 11/09/2014 - 20:13 -- Jess_T

Another scar
A new lesson
Each tear
A reminder she's been beat
She carves sorrow
Into her flesh
That way
She'll never forget

A constant reminder
Of her failure
The pain, the hurt
They'll never leave her
She'll remember forever
By the scars on her wrist

Blade hovering
Above torn skin
She cries
Once more

A pale corpse
Lifeless upon the floor

Antagonists cry
Their tears superficial
Yet those who cared
Shed no tears
But remember in silence
So they won't forget
