On August 1996, My brothers,mother and I  were in a car accidnet after my mother hit a pot hole and the ar lost control, My mother had to have 8 screws and 2 plates put in her left knee, my older brother had cold blue called on him, my other brother had ashtma really bad, and I (at 3yo) broke my left hip.So here goes.......

Never Shall I Forget

Never shall I forget the pothole in the street

The darkness outside with mom, my brothers and me

Which turned my life around

And at that moment I heard a lot of sounds

Never shall I forget cars driving by

The ambulance rushing to save our lives

Never shall I forget sitting in the middle seat

With my seat belt on to be as safe as I can be

Never shall I forget walking to the ambulance

Being told my hip was broken and I couldn’t really stand

Never shall I forget wearing the pink cass from my chest on down

I had to learn how to walk all over again on the steel solid ground

Never shall I forget those moments

Every single minute of that part of my life

I will always remember that dark scary night

Never shall I forget August 1997

The car accident that changed my life

But, God was right there by my side
