My love for him grew

As I held my hand in his,

With nicotine touch.

His strong arms held me

And fingertips grazed my chin

With nicotine touch.

Sea blue eyes daring,

Pink lips pressed against my own

With nicotine touch.

My fear for him grew

As he harshly gripped my wrist,

With nicotine touch.

His strong arms threw me;

His fists left marks on my chin.

With nicotine touch.

Sea blue eyes irate,

His drunken breath singed my skin.

With nicotine touch.

My dress was stained grey,

As I vowed my life to him

With nicotine touch.
