Nightmare

You travel alone on a pitch black road.

Through the mist lanterns show dimly,

Keeping the monsters at bay

Until one by one, darkness replaces where they glowed

All you hear are the beasts snarling grimly

And all you can do is pray

Though you search, those rays of hope are nowhere to be found

No destination in sight, no direction but the path

Demons, hidden, waiting on every side.

Insults and degradation the only discernable sound

Your own eternal wrath

You can escape a scary forest, but from your mind you can never hide.
