No Filter Shall Suppress Us

Raw.

Take away the chlorine and see

Water not yet purified,

Expansive and mysterious as the ocean,

Curious and shining and rocking.

 Rhythmic Waves.

 Violent storms.

Passions bled bloody, cerulean, and Amazonian,

Dirtied by chemicals,

Made happy by hope.

Smiles.

A flash of white that brighten the cobalt colored vastness to the intensity of a

Thousand suns.

No filter can cleanse the sturdy, swaying tenderness of the human spirit.

As unique and dancing as it is,

No amount of coverage can block,

Hide,

Eliminate,

And prosecute

Water turned into wine.
