No Thanks Instagram, Filters Are Not For Me.

Location

Take away Mayfair, Hudson, and X-Pro ll.
Or take a way my personal filter.
What keeps me from getting punched in the face when I have something rude to say.
Or the filter that sometimes covers up my real personality.
The filter that society places over our views and values?
The "filter"
Most people use them to cover up their beauty. Inside and out.
My filter, has vanished.
I have discovered that putting a filter over yourself-
The real you
Does not always get you the most likes.
The me without a filter can be taken the wrong way.
Strong, independent.
I have no interest in what others think of me.
With my filter I come off shy and timid.
The timid girl in the corner is not who I really am.
The shy girl, has never really been me.
The me with a filter was extremely filtered.
The girl without her filter can stand in front of a crowd and be confident with what she is saying.
The girl without her filter can take on any task life decides to give her.
She is the girl I strive to be.
Not filtered.
Not covered by an Earlybird, Inkwell, or a Nashville.
Without a filter you can embrace the flaws you might have.
See the natural beauty of things.
Of you.
I was a girl that was covered by a filter to often.
And now I am Normal.
No filtering.
Do not follow the crowd.
Do not filter your amazing shine, your face, or your thoughts.
I certainly do not.
The girl, me, that strong, independent girl.
The one who can conquer hardships and heartbreak in the same week.
Or sing out loud, even if she can not sing in tune.
Me, I have no filter.
The me that is outgoing, loud, caring,
difficult at times, always smiling, and manages to still love everyone.
That is me with no filter.
