A Non-Related Mother

I’ve noticed I’m happier calling you my mother

Your arms around me intertwined

Tucking me in and kissing me “Goodnight.”

I’ve dreamed of a mother like you so much it’s no longer right

My new mother so beautiful, it fills my heart

While yet a child who sought for love and warmth

I am my mothers and she is mine

You shared my happiness

Without you where would I be

Without your love, my heart would beat no more

Please love me as much as your heart can stand

For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you

I wish to specifically send remembrance and love to you

my love and remembrance pours over you like the rain

You, mine, my mother

I view blossoms and send them to you

Prodigal, you have given me Love-Therefore I to you give love!

For us all that is left is love

And she who held me in her arms

And may help me learn to bear the beams of love

And call only you “mom”

This poem is about:
My family

This poem is for my mom. I am adopted so thats why it is titled a non-related mother. As this poem shows though I am adopted is till love my mother deeply and do  not care if we are  not related by blood.
