Not in the mirror

Location

Everyone's always told it

be true to how you feel,

but what happens when

what you show isn't real?

why do we always feel

the need to hide what's true

why do we always feel

embarrased for the real you

there's nothing worse than hiding,

a man within a shell,

live in darkness from the real world,

our own unbearable hell

the man in the mirror isn't real

except for when You cry,

and so you stand there and realize,

that man is a lie.
